Does anyone ask clients to sign payment T&Cs when registering with the practice or when you agree to do pay vet direct insurance claims? I have a practice who would appreciate some guidance with this. Many thanks Sarah
They are not exactly our standard t&c’s , but we get clients to sign a declaration that (amongst other things) they understand that they are liable for the outstanding fees if the ins co won’t pay them and that we are charging them £25 admin fee. As with most protocols I have doubts that staff get this done every time as clients are not always present when decisions are made to allow a direct claim (£600 of claim). I should say we waive this for vetsure policy owners ! ( and indirect claims). Hope this helps , Steve
