I’d like to extend a very warm Vetsure welcome to new Platinum member Thomas Rees, director of Selworthy Vets in south Devon.
Selworthy Vets is a well established mixed practice in the beautiful area of Kingsbridge. The practice has grown significantly over the last few years, helped by a move to brand new, purpose built, eco-friendly premises. I…[Read more]

We have been informed of a fabulous initiative to help reduce paper within practices! As we’re sure you already know, it is a legal obligation to provide data sheets with any type of veterinary drug, but this can […]

Many thanks
Janine
Thank you so much to Scott Vets for sharing this, it is something we have been struggling with recently and there have been many discussions around dealing with this!
Hi, This is really useful. Could you share with us the method of obtaining the codes as there are other drugs we use which are not on this list. Thank you
Simon
Hi Simon,
The Scott Vets process is detailed below.
I think you could probably achieve a similar result by finding the product on the Noah Compendium and copying the URL for the product page on your saved document.
‘To create the bitly links, we did them individually for each product we use.
Firstly we created an account on bitly.com to enable us to create links from products in the Noah Compendium.
Then, within the Noah Compendium, we then searched for the specific product, eg, Rimadyl Palatable Tablets 20mg, 50mg & 100mg, copied the link from there into bitly “Enter Long URL” and then pressed Create. This then creates the appropriate bitly link, in this example bit.ly/3Nupxxs.’
Hope this helps!

It’s great to see so many new members joining this group. Please do post questions if you’re looking for guidance on any part of setting up your practice. If you’re already open, let us know how your new practice is going – any tips you think would help those just starting the process, I know would be gratefully received. Have a good weekend. Sarah
Hi we’re just starting out and are getting a lot of calls about pricing that tend to go nowhere. is this a thing you all get?
Morning Ian, great question. I’ll contact a few practices this morning to see if they are experiencing the same. We have a number of new mobile practices who have opened recently who I am sure will be happy to reply. I expect you’re already doing this, but when people are calling, are you asking when boosters etc. are due? Great to keep a note of…[Read more]
thanks Sarah !
Hi Ian,
We’re a mobile practice in Witney, Oxfordshire. We’ve had a few similar calls but nothing out of the ordinary – we would see this amount of calls for prices etc in a normal practice in the area. I think a lot of people want to know if we’re going to be cheaper or more expensive than their own vets.
We’ve been giving out prices only for…[Read more]
