Who routinely does follow up phone calls post op to clients to check how the patient is? Interesting post on FB from my dog walker – this one simple gesture from the practice led to her writing a glowing report about them. I wonder how many of her dog walking clients will switch vets due to this post! The small things do matter 😄

Sorry for late reply Morna, yes, you should definitely save money with IMS. I’ve had a chat to jo today, if she’s not been in touch already expect to hear from her early next week. She’ll get a full IMS product catalogue to you ASAP. Do message if you need anything else. Sarah

Just thinking about this again, for an accurate comparison, could you get 3 months worth of you consumable purchases to your veterinary relationship manager? We’ll be able to send these to IMS and they will do a like for like price comparison for you. Kind regards

Hi Sarah, thanks for the feedback. I’m actually taking over a practice from VP and have no access to their accounts so I can’t do what you suggest. It just grabbed my attention that the spreadsheet shows IMS vs NVS as being favorable for consumables but states that the prices are accurate against the 2011/12 price guides. Hannes is working at whiteley village on Friday this week. Rachel is going to ask him how far he travels. If there are 2 practices in the same area – might make it more viable for him. I should have an update early next week.

Hi Ian, not had personal experience of using them – a long time since I was in practice, but I know a number of practices around the Bristol/Somerset area who use Rata Veterinary Surgery https://vet.ratavetsurgery.co.uk/about-rata might be worth a call. @anna-currell how far does Hannes travel?
