Anyone willing to share their experience with cloud based PMS? We are currently with Robovet. Vetsolutions have RxWorks as a cloud based solution, but not Robovet. I am also unimpressed with the levels of support we currently receive from HS. Would be interested in any insights on other systems eg Animana (I am put off already because it is Idexx), Centaur’s Merlin etc

Hi Amy. Didn’t u work for Idexx many moons ago? Was the use of Animana any relation to this? I am a bit concerned about IDEXX as my experience of their service levels recently is not great.
Hi, we use Animana and have ben very happy with it and with good levels of support.
we use animana and have done since 2015 , while the clinical part is good, and easy to use and robust compared to server based systems, be very careful of the accounting package that they bolted on to it- they may have improved it now but it was a nightmare, and we got close to parting company. we use sage now but have to manually transfer figures into it and that isnt straightforward. i have used three different companies’ PMS and have felt like a beta test site each time. sigh……..
Hi. We use Merlin ( Vetspace). Was a nightmare initially and would crash for several hours but over the last 12 months has been very reliable.
I have invested in satellite internet as a back up in case our BT internet crashes.
Would recommend Merlin now.
