There have been posts from clients on practice Facebook feeds asking about flea/worm tx. I have seen some replies saying the practice will post the product and client pays postage charge which appears to have been well received by the clients but this was last week. Whether that is still feasible now you are all operating with significantly reduced number of staff I’m not sure.
Goes without saying and I’m sure all practices are doing this but do keep a close eye on your Facebook posts. Clients are reaching out to practices here in response to posts about new protocols.
I think do your best for those clients who call / email and ask for product and we’ll need to have a plan in place for when this awful situation is over to ensure you get clients back on track with routine / preventative care. Emails, Facebook posts etc.
From a personal perspective, I’m going to leave the flea/worm tx for my dog until I can get back to my practice safely to get the stuff he needs – I’m just keeping a very close eye out for ticks and have had to remove a couple so far!
