Reducing our environmental impact following the COP 26 summit. We’ve received several emails from members over the last few weeks for information about creating more environmentally friendly and ‘greener’/more sustainable practices. It will be a focus for the Vetsure team over the coming months to collate ideas and information about how to make your businesses more environmentally friendly. It would be a huge help if you could share any recent changes you’ve made at your practice to achieve this. Please do post ideas on Join the Conversation or email sarah@vetsure.com. By gathering the combined efforts of the group as a whole, and creating a group ‘Green Policy,’ we can help and support each other make an even bigger difference.
Hi Sarah, we’ve changed all our kennel beds to Tuffies mattresses instead of vet beds. Not only are they more comfortable for the patients, but it has also vastly reduced our washing and tumble drying – saved on time for the team too so win win! Would love to hear what others are doing.

hi Sarah. one of my nurses has done a lot of research on this for me and we have changed quite a lot of things happy to pass the info from example biodegradable bags, biodegradable gloves…
