We have been alerted to a scam affecting Veterinary Practices in the South East, news article below however one of the practices reported to us how it is run. Customer comes into the practice – goes to buy a toy (or similar) has problems with the card payment, gets agitated and picks up the card machine. It is at that point that they try and arrange a refund from the practice – in this case £5000!
Thankfully the practice were able to stop this progressing further – but be warned!

Wow, but how is this even possible as a practice you are returning the setup amount?
