A message to our Buysure members: We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Vetscan – the supplier of in-house diagnostic equipment and consumables that was formerly owned by Abaxis but is now part of Zoetis. Whilst the Vetscan equipment has always been top of the range, the service under Abaxis was somewhat unreliable – so far, the experiences of our members since the products have been supported by Zoetis and the Zoetis team has been exemplary. We have now combined this with an exclusive deal with Zoetis in order to be able to offer our members exceptional terms.
Please see below for a presentation highlighting the range and an excel sheet with the discounts on offer to our members – note that these discounts will be obtained direct by the practice and not subject to further Buysure commission.
In summary, Buysure for Vets members will benefit from 15% off the cost of equipment and 10% off consumables, and Buysure Platinum members will benefit from 30% off the cost of equipment and 20% off consumables. Zoetis are offering 3 methods of funding the equipment including: outright purchase, hire purchase over 5 years through a leasing company and a third deal in which the cost of the purchase is offset by committing to a certain volume of consumable purchases every month. The latter option will be particularly attractive to larger practices.
When we were negotiating the deal, of particular interest to our steering committee was the 5 year warranty on offer from Zoetis – if any equipment breaks down during this time (subject to practices undertaking simple regular maintenance) it will be shipped to Germany for fixing free of charge, and replacement equipment provided in the meantime.
