Had a great meeting today with Matt Jones (head of vet partnerships at Guildford vet school). Love the model of training they have there – far better suited to training/ preparing gp vets of the future. They are keen to place vet students on intramural studies into vetsure practices. Practice leaders get trained on how to coach and receive payments for taking on students. Will be following up after BSAVA but let me know if you’re interested in exploring.
