We are delighted to introduce our Vetsure for Kids Pet Packs and Social Stories, created by our very own team member, Amey. These helpful guides aim to support families of both neurodiverse and neurotypical children to navigate the ever-colourful journey of pet ownership.
How Vetsure for Kids can benefit your clients:
• Simple, child-friendly explanations of complex conditions to support understanding
• Medicine safety tips to keep pets safe
• Entertaining colouring pages
• A special certificate for children to celebrate kindness towards their furry friend

Our Social Stories are set out in a comic-strip style, designed specifically for neurodiverse children to help them learn more about their pets and how to care for them. We were lucky enough to have the input from a friend of Vetsure and an early years teacher with SEN experience, who kindly volunteered their time to help. With this, alongside Amey’s undeniable passion, we hope these resources will be useful for your clients.
Consider downloading and printing these packs to hand out at the time of a pet’s diagnosis, adding an extra layer of care to your service that parents will appreciate and remember. By sharing these resources, you can help ease children’s concerns and make difficult health conversations a bit gentler and more approachable.
